Tui Uri joins from Ipswich RFC as back row forward

Current Ipswich RFC back row forward Tui Uru is to move to Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club for the 2017/18 season.

Ipswich RFC are well aware that Tui is destined for greater things with his rugby career and can see that playing in National Division 2 will benefit him massively in his development. Tui has moved to Bury with their blessing and they will no doubt be watching his progress with great interest.

Tui was invited to Bury St Edmunds to take a look at the Pro-am set up and was suitably impressed after which, he agreed to sign a 1 year contract. Tui has been a regular player for Eastern Counties and has recently been selected for England Counties U20’s.

“Tui is an exceptional talent and we are pleased to welcome him to the Wolfpack where he can develop his rugby further”, said Jon Clarke, Head Coach. “He will be an excellent addition to the squad.”
