After a great day at Twickenham with the U11's, it is now my turn to have the honour of stepping on to the hallowed turf at Twickenham. In return for receiving this honour I've been asked to raise money for the RFU injured players foundation in memory of Stuart Mangan. Stuart was a player at my old club - Hammersmith & Fulham when, in 2008 he suffered a spinal injury whilst playing for the club. Over the years, HFRFC Vets have raised £120,000 for the IPF and continue to do so.

I would be grateful for any donations.
Whilst a load of fat, middle aged blokes playing a rugby tournament may not be the most arduous of tasks, it is the cause behind it that is so worthy, especially when our club has had two players affected by spinal injuries whilst playing.
A documentary was made about Stuart and the first part is here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maz8UHHa9PA

A few more details are on the Justgiving page. Surely the thought of me having to waddle around a pitch so big is worth a few pence?
