Foxes fight to win 3-48 away to Chelmsford

Foxes dominate once again to get th win despite finishing with 13 down to injury.
The Foxes win 3-48 away to Chelmsford despite going down to 13 players due to injury through grit and determination in a well fought game.
Within the first five minutes it was clear that the Foxes were there to take control of the game with a strong scrum and impressive runs from the back. This led to the first try with the ball going through the hands to Stephanie Durrant to run down the wing to score. (0-5) The second try came from an impressive Foxes defense with Chantelle Higgins turning over the ball. This resulted in multiple phases for Natalie Palmer to find the gap to go over the line, try converted.
The third try came quickly after as Steph Hanratty receives the ball from the restart to run half the pitch to offload to Em Gattlin to score under the posts, try converted. With Chelmsford fighting back to get some points on the board the Foxes were showing their impressive defense, in particular strong tackle coming from Danni Lee and Natalie Palmer. However, Chelmsford were able to get a penalty and kicking through the posts (3-19).
With the Foxes once again on the attack they were able to show their strong crash ball in the forwards and strong runs from the backs, in particular Em Gattlin. With Chelmsford camped in their 22 Robyn Gordon was able to take advantage of them going through their hands to get an impressive interception for fourth try of the game. (3-24).
With multiple turnovers, the last try of the first half came from the backs being able to run their lines and Steph Hanratty to cross the line on the wing sealing the BP. (3-29).
The second half started strongly for the Foxes with Elina Rougier kicking the ball out of Burys half with Stephanie Durrant out jumping everyone to impressively catch the ball in the air resulting in the sixth try for the Foxes with the ball then being offloaded to Danni Lee to score.
The seventh try came off a strong attack from the Foxes with Sammi Rackham able to go over the line for her first try of the game (3-41). With Chelmsford still fighting back the Foxes were able to hold off all attacks. The last try of the game came from a good run from Abz Kegge and Sammi Rackham picking the ball from the ruck to go over the line for her second. This try was completed by Robyn Gordon getting the conversion finishing (3-48).
