Foxes win the league with 2 games spare after a spectacular 0-69 win away.

Foxes win the NC East 1 League
It was the game to win the league for the Bury Foxes as they travelled to Stanford-Le-Hope and did not disappoint in an impressive 0-69 win over the home team.
It was clear within the first ten minutes that the Foxes were there to show a dominate performance and solidify their posi#on in the league with Lucy Kerr running in the first try after some solid runs. (0-5).
With this the Foxes were able to gain a large portion of possession with the next try coming from a quick take after a penalty for the ball to be passed through hands and Em Gattlin to run over the line. (0-10). The Foxes third coming from a strong leg drive from Laura Stone through several players for her to go over the line. (0-15).
The forth try of the first half came from an impressive run from over half way down the wing by Stephanie Durrant scoring on the wing, her first of four. (0-20).
With the next two tries coming in quick succession as both EJ Stearn and Georgie Palmer were able to score from the re-start, catchingand running through the opposi#on to the try line. The latter being converted by Steph Hanra/y. (0-32).
Stephanie Durrant’s second try of the game came from a strong scrum and some well worked hands for her to run in down the wing. (0-37).
The last try of the first half came from Steph Hanratty with a strong run over the line, converted (0-44).
The second half followed the first for the Foxes with Abz Kegge scoring after a kick from Elina Rougier and a strong run by the backs for them to collect and pass this to Kegge for a strong drive over the line. (0-49)
Stephanie Durrant’s third came from a turn over in the ruck for the ball to be recycled out for Durrant to run the wing and through their full back to touch down over the line. (0-54). With the Foxes confidence at a high the next try came from a quick penalty for the ball to go over the line by Natalie Palmer. (0-59).
The Foxes penultimate try and Stephanie Durrant’s fourth came from an impressive step around the oppositions winger for her to run the half and take the ball over the line. (0-64).
The fintry of the game came from an equally impressive run from Georgie Palmer after a pick and go from half way toscore under the posts. (0-69).
With this Stanford-Le-Hope were coming back and trying to put some points the board, however with some strong tackles and last-ditch tackles from full back Stephanie Durrant the Foxes were able to keep the clean sheet to close out the game.
